Greenpeace viral Christmas message

The annual Christmas speech is hot property, and this year Greenpeace are getting in on the action thanks to a viral campaign to attract younger members, with the emphasis on social networking sites. The campaign uses a viral e-card which uses a Queen lookalike to promote a greener Christmas, and offers a customisable element through the personalisation of messages.

I’m not sure why they decided to use a lookalike of the Queen, and not go with someone of more relevance, and crucially interest to the MySpace generation?
